护理助理(CNA)课程

The PG电子APP 护士助手 (CNA) course prepares non-licensed individuals to provide safe, 为病人提供有效及贴心的服务, residents and clients in a variety of health care settings as a certified nursing assistant (CNA). 这种严格的, short-term CNA certification course provides a hybrid format with online instruction, 以及在实验室环境中临床技能的实践. Clinical opportunities are provided within the course schedule in the PG电子APP clinical lab. SCrubs，带秒针的模拟手表， and clean, closed toe shoes are required for clinical sessions. 临床会议的时间可能与实验室会议不同. Students are provided a complete schedule of dates and times at registration for the CNA certification course.

The PG电子APP 护理助理(CNA)课程 is approved by the 内raska Department of 健康 and Human Services and meets all requirements set forth by the State of 内raska for nurse aide (CNA) training.

先决条件

  • Be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Be in good health and able to lift 50 pounds throughout the clinical sessions.
  • Not have been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude that is rationally related to the position of a nurse aide. (Moral turpitude has been defined as an act or behavior that violates accepted moral standards and in legal terms means anything done contrary to justice, 诚实, 谦虚, 有良好的道德和意图诈骗).

费用

$525 payable by cash, money order, or credit card (VISA, MC, Discover) at time of registration.

成功完成的要求

  • Attendance at every lab and clinical session, for all of the scheduled time, is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 45 hours participating in the 护士助手 online course is required. The amount of time spent online participating in the course is recorded by the learning management system.
  • An average of 80% or better on all unit tests and the final exam.
  • Satisfactorily demonstrate all required patient care skills in lab sessions.
  • 通过职业行为评估.
  • 通过学生临床评估.

 

Requirements for placement on the 内raska 护士助手 Registry

  • Successful completion of the PG电子APP 护理助理课程 as stated above.
  • Score of 70% or better on 护士助手 State Written Competency Exam.
  • Score of 70% or better on the 护士助手 State Skills Competency Exam.

Student information is submitted to the 内raska Department of 健康 and Human Services for placement on the 护士助手 Registry upon passing both the 内raska State Written and Skills Competency Examinations.

取消政策 & 退款信息

If you cannot attend the course you registered for, you must fill out a 下降/取消表单. 文书工作必须完成, signed and returned to the 专业发展 office before you can be officially dropped from the class. You will be responsible for paying the course fee if you do not drop/cancel the course within the cancellation guidelines. 退课/取消退款时间表如下:

  • Drop/cancellation forms received five or more business days prior to the class start date will receive a refund minus a 10 percent withdrawal fee.
  • Drop/cancellation forms received four or less business days prior to the class start date will receive no refund.
  • A refund is not provided nor is a transfer allowed for failure to attend or not meeting course completion requirements.
  • All refunds will be sent to the payee address on file within 60 days.
  • If course fee was paid with a credit card, a refund is issued to the same credit card.
